Victory in TeamFight Tactics!
I finally got my first victory in TeamFight Tactics. I honestly thought it was going to take me much longer than it did. I borrowed a strategy from popular streamer Disguised Toast and went with a composition of 8 tanks and 1 Miss Fortune. Well It wasn't quite 8 tanks but everyone else was fodder protecting Miss Fortune.
I tossed in Draven for the final round so he doesn't really count. Rest of the game saw me running three pirates plus as many tanks as I could gather. I'm not sure who all the characters are in this game since I don't have much experience in LoL but I think I had Cho'Gath, Sejuani, Volibear and Mordikeiser as my beef. Gangplank and Graves were just a bunch of fodder and then the two star Miss Fortune to carry me to victory.
Now that I'm totally a pro at TeamFight Tactics, I asked @Corilanus if he wanted to play a few games with me tonight. After we had a disastrous game where we spent the majority of the time trying to get our mics to work in discord, I struck gold again with an amazing little concoction that just sort of happened for me.
I opened the game by immediately getting the 4 wild bonus and jokingly I told @Coriolanus I was going to load him up with items and use him to carry me. Well it didn't totally work but I hit a boat load of items, added a 3 void bonus into the mix and then tossed a fully loaded Draven in my backline. It was beautiful. I spent a ridiculous amount of time getting that Rek'sai at the end of the game but it was pretty amazing in the end. With the wild and void bonuses, Draven was a one man wrecking crew.
Overall a fun night with @Coriolanus and a pretty silly victory to end the night with.
Nice! I had a victory yesterday when I went with a noble build to which I added 3 elementalist as well at the end. It did take me forever to get Leona and Kayle that game, so my Leona didn't even reach level 2. Next game Leona showed up so much faster but I didn't need her then xD
In another game I was just 1 Miss Fortune short of getting her to level 3, which would've been so insane I bet! But alas I couldn't get her and ended up in 2nd place due to the RNG of the glacials that my enemy had in combination with their different team placement in the last round as I did win the round before that.
three star Miss Fortune sounds amazing. The glacials just seem so annoying, they can work really well or just sit around and do nothing.
Yeah, it was really quite the miss fortune that I was missing 1 Miss Fortune to get her to three stars. Will have to try that again sometime. Indeed, I do find that if you can include another ranger alongside Ashe that could improve the chances of freezing an enemy a little bit more.
I haven't played much with Rangers so far. I find I end up jamming them in as extras whenever they are on the field.
