Penguins!

A few pictures I took of the penguins at the Calgary Zoo. They were just finishing feeding them as we went through so we got a pretty good show. I thought I was taking a few videos of them eating and diving but apparently they didn't work out so you are just stuck with my photos.

No zoom or cropping on this shot, that's how close the penguins are to you while they are swimming around. Pretty cool to casually be within two feet of a penguin with nothing in between the two of you.

Another penguin coming to say hi to me!

Here is the trainer in the enclosure with the penguins. She was tossing out treats and talking with the penguins. During the winter the have a penguin walk on some mornings, we got to the zoo in the afternoon so we missed it, the penguins are very comfortable around people especially their trainers.
