Arsenal could face competition with Valancia and Sevilla for Juan Mata

The Spaniard is currently with Manchester united but hasn’t received new offers from the club. The player is currently 30 years old and could be nearing the end of his career. His contract is due to expire in June and could leave the club on free transfer. He has expressed a desire to return to Spain in the past and could probably return to former club, Valancia. Sevilla though have expressed a desire to sign the player although no former approach has been made.

Juan Mata once played for the new Arsenal boss, Unai Emery and the rumors are that the coach fancies reuniting with the troubled winger.

Mata joined Manchester United from Chelsea in 2016 when current Manchester United coach was then at the helm of affairs at the blues. He was until then, the blues standout player, winning the best player award for two seasons. He has however struggled for a regular starting position under Jose Mourinho and with time not on his side, this may be the right time to leave.
