Best Use of Hobgoblin. My Melee Mayhem Match on Splinterlands.

Hey Guys,

How are you ? I am fine and hopefully you all are also well. Today I am here to share my best use of Hobgoblin.

Recently I have started uploading a series video of my Splinterlands battle where I used Reward cards and they played an important role in that battles.

Hobgoblin is a Rare Neutral Reward monster and a melee card. It costs 5 mana. It has Double Strike from the beginning and that's why it plays an important role in Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak matches unless there is not any Thorns cards.

In this battle, combat rule was Target Practice and Melee Mayhem. So all range and magic cards would have snipe ability and all melee cards would hit from any position. I had my daily quest where I was asked to complete 5 ranked matches with Dragon splinter. So I choose Daria as summoner and choose Earth splinter because they have high melee damage of my cards. I placed Flesh Golem in the first position because of it's Heal ability with high health, damage and speed. Then I placed Rexxie because of its high melee damage and Trample ability. Also it has high health and speed. Then I placed Stonesplitter Orc because of its high damage and Retaliate ability. Then I placed Hobgoblin because of its Double Strike ability along with 2 melee damage which was turned into 3 because of Daria. Then I placed Wood Nymph for its Tank Heal ability and also it has 1 magic damage. Then in the last position I placed Screeching Vulture for its Opportunity ability. Also it has kinda good speed and damage.

My strategy worked and I won the match. My opponent was strong enough and he/she submitted good cards but I won the battle at the end.

Though all cards worked really amazing but I would like to choose Hobgoblin as "Card of the Battle". Other cards also played well such as Stonesplitter Orc.
