If there is a #comic book you feel I should have recommended, I would love to hear about it in the comments section.
Sorry that I did not post in February. I am going to try to get back on track.
DC
1 - Dark Knight: Death Metals 1. More from the Dark Multiverse. This time you have Batman with a scythe, Bizarro-looking Superman with Darkseid’s arm, and Wonder Woman with the Joker Who Laughs skull on her knee with a chainsaw that she starts with her Lasso of Truth. This is not quite my taste in comics, but if you like your stories turned up to 11, this may be a book for you.
4 – Generation One. Rumors have been flying about Gen 5, so here we get some concrete information. Generation One will kick of on Free Comic Book Day. Looks like DC is trying to make up for what they did to Wally in Heroes in Crisis. The Generation books will consist of 5 prestige one-shots to introduce Gen 5, possibly in September of 2020. In Generation One, we will learn which Golden Age hero becomes its greatest villain.
6 – Batman: The adventure Continues 1. New 6 issue limited series set in the world of Batman the Animated Series. Written by Paul Dini and Alan Burnett.
8 – Green Lantern 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular 1. Green Lantern gets the special treatment for his 80th birthday. This time, we at least get a preview of the available covers, except of course, Jim Lee's, whose plate is pretty full at them moment.
10 – Batman 94. So, apparently the cover solicited for this issue was moved up, so the Artgerm variant cover is not the one you would receive.
25 – Batman Secret Files 3 – I thought this issue might have the first appearances of a couple of new chararacters, Mr. Teeth and Gunsmith, but, they appeared in Batman 86.
43- Nightwing 72. If you need more Punchline, she shows up in this issue of Nightwing.
76 – Flash Forward TPB. This series is supposed to lead into Generation 5.
Marvel
The Marvel catalog was a struggle this month. I just cannot bring myself to care about Empyre. And since the first 23 pages are all about Empyre, it is page 24 before I find something worth mentioning.
24 – Juggernaut 1. A 5 issue series focusing on the Juggernaut, written by Fabian Nicieza and art by Ron Garney.
34 – Giant-Size X-Men: Tribute to Wein and Cockrum 1. 37 artists recreate Giant-Size Xmen 1 as a tribute to Len Wein and Dave Cockrum.
84 – Immortal Hulk 35 and 36. I just like the cover comparison of these two issues with the Leader skulking around in the background. Can Hulk have a happy ending? Apparently, no.
118 – Eternals Complete Saga Omnibus. Get the direct market only version with the Kirby cover and become familiar with the Eternals before their movie release later this year.
124 – Xmen/Fantastic Four 4x. collect sthe 4 issue series by Zdarsky and the husband/wife Dodson team.
144 – Punisher: Soviet. The Garth Ennis series gets the TPB treatment.
Side One
24 – Previews. Get your own copy to see all the things I don’t mention.
38 – Pulp OGN. Brubaker and Phillips bring us a story of a pulp writer churning out westerns while dealing with Nazis and bank robbers IRL.
55 – Die 11. Die returns with a new story arc.
88 – Norse Mythology 1. Gaiman along with P Craig Russel bring us a retelling of many Norse Mythologies.
371 – Doctor Who: A Tale of Two Time Lords TPB. I assume this is collecting some comics, but it does not say that specifically.
441 – Mandalorian “Warm Meeting T-shirt” . Relive the final moment of the first episode of the TV series with this shirt.
Side Two
89 – Hex X Jim Lee Portfolio Backpack. Hmm, that was supposed to be an exclusive for Kickstarter. Do I feel like a tool for buying into the Kickstarter now. :(
99 – Blade Runner 2049: Nexus Protocol Card Game. Hidden Identity game that I assume will play similar to Mafia, Werewolf, or Resistance. Created by Wizkids, and the cover art is not that great, but I am a sucker for Blade Runner.
Blank Covers

nice write up - I am looking forward to getting those Mattina and Bermejo Batman covers in May
