Hasil kerajinan tangan dari rotan diolah menjadi tudung saji untuk menutupi makanan diatas meja makan agar tidak dimakan kucing atau dijilati oleh cicak, tudung saji dari rotan ini lebih tahan lama dari pada tudung saji biasa yang terbuat dari plastik.
