Is President Joe Biden really doubling down on Covid-related fearmongering? Sheesh.
I agree with Democrats so often, but I really wish they had the humility to just admit that they were scientifically and philosophically wrong about Covid. I wish we could move on with our normal, unrestricted lives rather than deal with years of face-saving backpeddling.
It's over, Democrats. You lost. Now stop digging your grave deeper by rehashing the same tired, hypochondriac rhetoric you've been pushing for two years. And stop falling back on the lazy "you're selfish and don't care about science or other people" dialogue.
You're the ones who continually push scientifically nonsensical policies and eternally fractured public faith in our health institutions. You're the ones who wrecked the economy and ruined countless "nonessential businesses" before we all got Covid anyway.
At this point, it would be more politically advantageous to perform a whole flip-flop rather than alienate the ever-mounting number of people who are running out of patience, myself included.
The world is just being stubborn at this point. Virtually no one did the right thing as far as Covid was concerned because no one knew what the right thing to do was. Everything that every nation did to prevent the spread did not prevent the spread and they are just being stubborn and unwilling to admit that they were wrong at this point.
