Democrats - choose sanity:

When you release an illegal immigrant convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor from jail, hand them over to ICE.

Step 1 to sanity: stop protecting literal violent or dangerous criminals.

Step 2: pass a bipartisan bill creating lengthy mandatory prison sentences for illegal immigrants that are deported for crime and illegally re-enter the country.

Don’t tell us you’ll protect Americans, prove it.

These two changes will not result in the expulsion of a large number of criminal aliens, but would demonstrate that Democrats care about both crime, and keeping criminals out of our country.

This would be an easy win.

(It’s a sure bet that Democrats plan to let Republicans get the credit for this)
