I Need Help in my STEEM Analysis...
I want to do a deep dive into the STEEM cryptocurrency to draw up accurate price forecasts. In fact, I have an amazing hypothesis that I'd like to test. The problem -- for the life of me, I can't find a source that allows you to download the raw data of STEEM historical prices.
Now, I've found plenty of graphical charts, which are fine for identifying broad trends and patterns. But I'd like to science the sh-t out of STEEM -- considering its breathtaking momentum recently -- and to that end, charts are bullsh-t.
Does anyone know if there is a place that I can download the STEEM prices ala http://www.coindesk.com/price/ ? If so, could you reply to me with the link?
I'd love to get the hands on the raw data because without it, it's not worth doing the analysis -- it's just pure speculation without any science behind it.
Thank you, fellow Steemians! :)
just grab some from polo using their public API, literally three lines of code :)
if you use R you can copy my code https://steemit.com/steem/@chrishronic/forecasting-steem-prices-an-econometrics-tutorial-for-anyone
Okay, I'll look into this...thank you! :)
The best source for charts is Coinigy : https://www.coinigy.com/ - as for a list of price history not sure. someone can direct you maybe. @coinigy
Thanks for the info! I checked them out but I would have to special order the STEEM data since they don't have it readily available...which sorta sucks :)
No worries, someone will help you. They are good people over there @coinigy I have been using them for a long time. Join the 24/7 live Steem Radio @: www.steemspeak.com - you can get more help there. Steemians are always lurking there 24/7
Alright, will do, thanks for the tip! And yeah, I love the Steemit community -- a dream social media network!
Glad to have you brother
bom tenta ver neste site, não entendi muito bem sua pretenção, mas acho que pode te ajudar .. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/steem/#charts
Obrigado!...the problem with coinmarketcap is that it just shows the charts, not the raw data or numbers. I need to put the data in an Excel spreadsheet.
Go for it! I would be curious as to what you find out after the analysis. Please share your insights with the rest of us Steemians! Thanks for doing this...
Oh yeah, absolutely ... that's the whole plan! :)
