Decentralization and the Blockchain Solves Everything and Nothing Simultaneously!
We've all heard the phrase "decentralization" -- but does it actually solve any of our problems?
At first glance, my inquiry seems ludicrous. Of course #decentralization solves problems! The #blockchain is the revolutionary technology that will transform human societies forever!
But does it really? Or is decentralization just a buzzword, similar to what the blockchain has become in mainstream circles?
My line of thinking in this #story isn't about questioning or casting doubts about the blockchain or its associated #cryptocurrency #investing assets. Rather, it's just an invitation for people to think deeper and critically about the blockchain.
Why Blockchain Solves Everything
Fundamentally, bankers exercise power over their constituents through centralization. That is, the money supply is directed by a group of government organizations working in concert with each other.
We call this "big government" for short.
#Bitcoin and the blockchain completely disrupts this hegemony. Anyone with access to a computer can potentially access the blockchain network, and more importantly, the blockchain economy.
Since no one "owns" Bitcoin or other #altcoin assets, monetary policy isn't determined by rule of (centralized) law but by democratic consensus (at least in theory, don't get me started about bitcoin mining specifically!).
That's a big plus for the developing world, where they suffer under the weight of the USD world reserve currency.
Why Decentralization Solves Nothing
Years ago, famed investor Jim Rogers suggested a speculative idea about investing in frontier markets. If memory serves me correct, he suggested looking into Angola.
In theory, Angola and places like it are prime candidates for the blockchain and decentralization. In reality, frontier markets are frontier markets for a reason.
When you drill deeper into extremely poor countries, the stats are shocking. Illiteracy reigns supreme, and among the total population, the gap between male and female illiteracy is beyond redemption.
I know that patronizing Westerners feel good about themselves for throwing a few DOGE coins at random blacks, but come on!
Actualizing the blockchain assumes that the human condition is at a minimum standard of "normalcy" -- the blockchain cannot fix the human condition if it has failed!
Moving Forward...
I think we have to be a bit careful that we don't get blockchain mania. It's a wonderful technology, but at the end of the day, it's a fancy database with unique verification protocols.
What I'm trying to get at is SAP and Oracle are great databases that I have extensive experience using. However, a streamlined supply chain management system is completely useless if I don't have any supplies or a manager!

Saludos amigo, buena información, comparto tu razonamiento de repente la blockchain no es una barita mágica que resuelve todo tipo de problemas
Wow sangat menarik ig-nya sangat sungguh berbakat
I think the blockchain will be a great and useful tool, but it won't solve the problems, it takes people to do that.
