Why there is a bracket ( ) , with number in between the brackets next to every names?

Neat! I just noticed that my Steemd.com profile has a "Reputation" field with a value of "100,474,667,222,804"! I know it's all proportional, but that number looks so impressive, lol. :)

I'd imagine the (#) represents how valuable the contributor in question is. It looks like some of the spam bots have negative values, so it makes sense!
