Market Wrap: MASSIVE bullish reversal on Bitcoin, bottom in on STEEM and local currency charts for any alt-coin!
BTCUSD
... MASSIVE bullish reversal candle on Bitcoin following yesterday's carnage. Was planning on cost averaging, but didn't even get the chance: pair bounced right off 3600, negating all prior losses and finishing the day higher at 4080. Corrective low appears to be in and we should see a return to the record highs, followed by bullish continuation over the coming sessions:
ETHUSD
Ether traded finished the day lower yesterday, but continues to carve higher lows. Pair remains bullish as long as we are closing above 286. Initial resistance is 350, with a break above there targeting the 380-412 zone marked by the record highs:
STEEMBTC
STEEM traded as high as 37.50 yesterday, before finishing the day slightly lower at 31. I maintain the bottom is in and patiently await a break above the channel top/Sunday's highs to confirm:
ALTFIAT
As per yesterday's post, I've coded a Tradingview indicator that displays historical price data for STEEM vs all major currencies. The indicator doesn't just work on STEEM though, it will give you historical price data in your local currency for any alt-coin. As such, I thought I'd name it ALTFIAT.
The indicator and code are public on Tradingview, so anyone can use or modify (but please give credit where due). To add the indicator to your alt-coin chart, simply click the indicator button and search "altf" and it will show up:
STEEMAUD
STEEMUSD
SBDUSD
That's me for the day folks, look forward to seeing this handy little indicator on some of your charts!

Thanks will definitely use your steem fiat indicator.
I like the look of the break up of the descending triangle on steem usd, which it then retested.
Expect it to retest $2 before steemfest. And if we get good news on communities and the native apps, we could see new highs
Awesome - good to hear :)
Yeah I really like the look of those fiat charts - the BTC one's a bit scary at times!
When is SteemFest?
starts the first of november

Everyone looking to invest in this ICO you can do it now with no worries. and don't miss your chance to get ATS tokens for a price you'll probably never see in the future.
@buleth, thank you so much, great content! I will follow ;)
excellent your post congratulate you
excllent posting on steemit ,thank you
Glad you enjoyed
very nice analysis
Thanks Sharoon - appreciate it :)
Looking at the Steem/fiat charts, Steem seems to be quite stable, right?
Exactly, that's my take-away. It's easy to get a bit lost with everything priced in Bitcoin and Bitcoin moving so rapidly. STEEM appears to quite stable against FIAT currencies despite recent weakness against Bitcoin.
Hi @bulleth. You know what you're talking about! You might find my competition easy pickings then, it's called "Battle Of The Crypto Coins". Basically the winner is decided by who chooses the coin that has the greatest percentage increase over the week. 1st Place wins $50 Steem Dollars, 2nd Place wins $25 Steem Dollars. There have been 10 entries so far. Hopefully you'll have time to enter by Sunday 20:00 GMT :)
