Syria Chemical Framing Plot: Let me break this down for anyone not paying attention...

In 2012-2013 the US was supplying "off the books" Libyan weapons (chemical weapons included) to rebel forces and the BenGhazi event was one of the "off the books" weapon sales gone wrong. The weapons were then moved to Turkey where the US backed Rebel forces (funded mainly by Qutar) were trained on their use with the (US approved) goal of using the "undocumented" weapons sold to the rebels via BenGhazi (that Assad is known to have, and the rebels are thought to "not have access to") to frame Assad for a chemical attack, to be used as justification for military intervention in the region.

Sidenote: The backbone of this chemical framing plot is taken directly from the United Nations "Freedom of War Act" which specifically states "a halt in the production of chemical, bacteriological and radiological weapons and a reduction of existing stocks or their conversion to peaceful uses;", in this case using them to give justification for military intervention in an area they feel requires it (whether the masses agree or not).

Anyways, this chemical framing plot soon after came to fruition on August 21 2013 which is known as the Ghouta chemical attack, which in reality was carried out by the US backed rebels using these off the books weapons that were take from Gaddafi's stockpile in Lybia and sold to the rebels (by the CIA under direction of Brennan) to further the wanted agenda in the region (removal of Assad). At the time the MSM was pushing the idea that Assad had to of carried out the 2013 chemical attack, as he possessed the same chemicals and shells used in the attack, which the rebels were said not to of had access to, so by process of elimination for many people this automatically made Assad the source of the weapons and therefore the attack... but fortunately this 2013 chemical framing story didn't stick as well as they had hoped, due to a wide range of reporting of the planned chemical framing plot that took place over 1 year BEFORE the attack happened, which left enough doubt in some peoples mind that they weren't able to mindless blame the attack on Assad without major pushback from those that took the time to do some research beyond what the MSM was trying to jam down everyone's throats.

In the aftermath of this chemical framing plot failure they then decided to try to at least move the agenda forward in another way, by using the event as a talking point to force Assad to disarm his chemical stockpile while the world was watching carefully for what he would do (if he said no he would just appear more guilty so he really didn't have any options at this point and agreed to disarm which was finished in 2014). This was done so he wouldn't be able to use these types of weapons in the future against US forces when they finally were able to go forward with an inevitable invasion in the region.

Now that they had the groundwork in place, fast forward the more recent chemical attack in Syria called the Khan Shaykhun chemical attack, where they simply recycled the 2013 script (moved the chemical weapons back into the Syria via Turkey) but with a slight tweak as they learned from their 2013 mistakes. They understood the best way to remove any doubt from their skeptics would be to have irrefutable proof that Assad did the attack and this is being done by using his fighter aircraft as the patsy for the attack, so instead of them launching an attack and blaming Assad for it which is hard to make stick 100%, they would instead store the weapons in an area in Syria and then make Assad target it unknowingly so in the aftermath they could say that Assads fighters were what released the weapons (which isn't true), which allows them to tie the event much more directly to Assad and in a way that is much harder for the skeptics to deny.
