Did You Ever Have A Nagging Neighbor?
I don't happen to have a photo of this guy, @fulltimegeek,
except in my mind. Every time I think of him, he is brimming
with a huge smile on his face, then comes a laugh out of his
mouth. I usually have returned the laughter. He is the kind
of person some might call a bit crazy, because of some of the
things he professes, but in reality, he is not at all crazy, but
instead "wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove."
Over months, whenever he would come to our house to help
us out, he would leak out the words "bitcoin," "steem," "crypto,"
"blockchain" as some of his "crazy words." He was so loving
and caring and wanted to help us succeed with Steemit.
I finally took the words - he probably thought it "took her long
enough." ha! I think it took all through the summer of 2017.
One day, I asked him. How do I get involved with that program
you've been talking about? Duh! He must have thought I would
never ask.
He told me it was pretty simple and that he had already made
a lot of money and was able to help other people in and out
this program. That alone helped to motivate me to join. I could
help people while I'm enjoying writing. I truly hope what I write
is also enjoyable to those who are reading it.
So, I joined in September 2017. Since then, I have tried to
resteem, upvote and create interesting articles. I have been
checking Steem daily since I joined and tried adding at least
one post daily to keep the interest of others.
I love reading what other people write about, especially when
they introduce themselves. I have gone to youtube, when I
just can't think of anything I post that someone would be
interested in reading. I take photos too. I am not the best
photographer, when I compare what others have done, but I
do enjoy it. Make sure if you use youtube or any other place
where you find an article to post, that you let people know it
isn't the original article that you, yourself wrote.
So here I am 5 months after beginning Steemit and I am not
rich yet, and perhaps will never become rich because of Steemit,
but it has been a great place to meet people - young and old.
I guess I would be considered in the "old" group, though I still
feel young. Even us "old folks" can get involved in Steem. I
have been finding out more information on bitcoins as I go. It's
been fun, interesting and even a bit stressful at times, which
isn't all bad.
So, if you actually read this whole post, leave me the words,
"yes I did read it all." Just saying.... lol
Yes, I did read it all haha.
Scratch me off your list @buddy67 - "yes I did read it all." message received loud and clear :)
