What Will I Learn?

Description

This is the second of five tutorials on Complex Simpler. There are many functions in this sampler and we carefully cover each one in these five tutorials. Be sure to refer to #1 before doing this tutorial.

Learn how to start and end sample playback

To start and end playback in Complex Simpler you must first have a sample (see tutorial 1). Once you have a sample you can use a trigger (covered later in this tutorial) or use the button below the Trigger Start indication. To stop playback you can use the button under Trigger Stop.

The video tutorial shows more details on this process.

Learn the purpose of Zoom

The Zoom control can be found in the lower part of the UI. Zoom only changes the way the waveform of the sample looks in the view window. Turning clockwise makes the waveform larger.

Learn how to use triggers for playback control

Triggers can be used to start and stop playback in Complex Simpler. There are countless ways that this can be used in your music. In the tutorial I show a few ways that this can be done.
