A dive into an ocean in Saudi Arabia (Original)

"We always seem to be too busy with our work and forget to enjoy our life.", my brother @amju told to me while we were coming back home from work. I couldn't agree more to what he just said. We are those kinds of people who believe that there should be a fine balance between work and life. Fortunately we had along with us our younger brother Ashik who shared the same moto.

Last time me and @amju had explored Jubail Corniche , which was like a beautiful park near the seashore. We were thinking of an other destination when ashik suggested that he want to dive down into ocean. How can we disagree to our young brother's request, so me and @amju decided to head to Al-Fanatheer, which is home to one the best beaches I have seen.

So it was time for our second journey and our destination was Al-Nakheel Beach, Fanateer, Saudi Arabia. Nakheel Beach is located in the city of Jubail which is an Eastern province of Saudi Arabia. It's about 17 miles from our place and as always we decided to use Google map to help us with the location; sometimes the roads here are quiet confusing.

When we used Google map the last time, our ended up with me staring at a barbed fence. You can learn about that adventure here. But this time Google map did us justice and we reached our destination: Al-Nakheel Beach. First thing you will notice here is the blue ocean and the green grasses on the shore. There are many parasols made out wood near to the beach.

Nakheel Beach has two sections: Family Section and Bachelor Section. Many people find this to be annoying. But the reality is that, if you are bringing your family; going to the family section is most convenient. Security is key in Saudi Arabia. If you are bringing your family and if you go to family section, you will have all the security and peace of mind . Even guards are available in family section and they are always ready to help.

Some months ago I had visited the family section along with my mom and dad. That was a wonderful journey and a story for another time. But one thing I have to tell is that, kids will love the family section. It's like a park only with sea saw, swings, climbers, craw tubes and the list goes on. I have to say, its the best place to go for picnic. And surely next time I will blog in detail about it.

For the time being, since we three were bachelors; we had to go to the bachelor section and be content with it. Bachelor section is not so bad as a matter of fact. The shore has wooden parasols and bench made of stone. The view you get from sitting there is simply awesome.

My brother ashik badly wanted to take a dive in to the water and we didn't stop him. The thing is that, the waves here are not so strong and there is a protection net too which will stop us from floating to deep sea. Coastal guards are always on watch out for the people. So it was pretty safe to take a dive. So we all took a dive in to the beach. The water was of the right temperature and we spent about one hour swimming. It's just a joy to be at the beach, swimming and seeing the sunset, thinking of nothing else but the blue water, the mind soothing sunshine and the cool breeze coming from the ocean.
