Mink Oil Makes Boots Brand New
Leather is great when it comes to any type of footwear but work boots take a beating from many different outside elements. Today I picked up some mink oil to condition an old pair of hunting/work boots and the results are amazing.
This pair of boots I bought about 7 years ago and I have put many miles on the soles. I have never "conditioned " the leather on this pair before but after doing just one boot I was amazed that they looked brand new.
The cream is very oily and the leather soaked up half of this can on just one pair of boots. I guess they needed attention a little more than I thought.
After I was done they looked almost as good as the day they were brand new.....except they are actually even better because they are already broke in nicely. Looks like they should be good for at least another 5 to 10 years and maybe more.
