#MARKETFRIDAY ..... an early one wich choice stress

My #marketfriday is a supermarket one! Its a market too right! @dswigle. This is mine....Yes its my leg and my foot! Like my #wednesdaywalks hihi Maybe i need to make a new tag #myfoot or #thesefeetaremadeforwalking 😉 oh Well the friday market here we go ....

Have you ever wondered why the products in a supermarket ( big or little ) are displayed in a certain way? I have been surprised for years that upon entering the supermarket you first come across the vegetables and the fruit. And just when you know your way around the bread’s first again. The rest of the groceries will follow along your way through the store.

A talk in our local supermarket explained the walking route through the supermarket: it appears from research (which unfortunately i couldnt find anywhere ) that we customers first choose a certain vegetable and the other groceries there on adjust. I get what my eyes thinks is delicious to eat for that day !

It is assumed that you start combining your meal in the store? Is that right? I always make a note. I make notee for everything by the way !
Based on tasty and healthy recipes that I have seen in my cookbooks in the kitchen and want to try, or on the basis of which I think my children will eat the best that evening. Very important to have them eat, then i enjoy my dinner even more.

Does the route influence what you will eat? The supermarket layout attents that anyway. Our Son works at the Lidl, and I understand the layout of the supermarket has to do with the quality of the products. The fruit and vegetables appear to radiate a certain quality. So when you come in as a customer, you immediately see this quality. Also to encourage us to make certain dishes. For example, are the asparagus on sale? Then these are at the very front. A recipe card or rather a suggestion in the box, apparently makes us decide what kind of meat or fish we are going to eat. The recipe cards are also always at the front of the store, namely where you enter. It makes sence now i write about it. But i have to make a note !

There are high margins on fruit and vegetables. So it is important to keep it nice and visible for when we enter. That, of course, works exactly the same with the products on the heads of shelves. These are on sale. The signs point us to the offer prices and the supermarket hopes that we will buy them. And what about the baskets of cakes and sweets at the checkouts? If you have to stand in line for a long time, or if you are not in line for so long but have an appetite, or if you have your children with you? The baskets of tasty things attract your attention. How often do you decide if you are at the checkout anyway but take that pack of stroopwafels that is there in front of you. Unfortunately, the really healthy products are never there.

Did you know that the A-brands are at eye level in the store? And that their own brand products, which are often inferior to the A brands, are completely at the bottom. As a customer, you have to put more effort into putting your own brand product in your cart or basket than if you opt for an A brand. I buy every brand depending on the product.
