I was cordially invited for this weeks contest about our beautiful nature by @adalger in the steemterminal discord and if it comes to nature I cannot refuse. I walk a lot with the dogs. And love nature.

read about it in the contest blog :

Today I saw that there was moss on the tiles in the garden. Moss in different colors green and all due to the amounts of rain that falls in the Netherlands.

Today I photographed moss and researched all the info about it.

Bryum argenteum, with its cat-like, silvery-white stalked stems and very common appearance on anthropogenic sites such as tiles, sidewalks and platforms, is the best-known moss. It also settles on natural sites. For example on sandbanks and in wet polders. Small, isolated places such as the wood on a bridge or tiles to shed that are not much used. Apparently the very small spores of this two-pronged moss are spread in large quantities, so there is a good chance that male and female plants will settle next to each other, in your garden.

The mosses are the first real land plants. They are still fairly close to their predecessors, the green algae, which only lived in the water. Mosses are still very dependent on water and therefore often live in damp places or grounds like stone or tiles. Without water, mosses cannot survive and cannot reproduce at all. So in the rainy season you see them under your feet mostly.

I researched with a garden ook and my app Picture This. Always fun doing these kind of blogs. I hope you like my touch of nature.

Nice post and photos, @brittandjosie.

By the way, do you know that moss can be used to remove some of the bacteria from the water, making it safer to drink? It's not as good as boiling it but when you can't make a fire or don't have a container to boil it, it's the next best thing.

Hi sorry for my late reply , yes I know that from discorvery they have a surviving in the wilderness and there I heard it before
