4 o’clocky SCHOOL PLAY DATES

Some time ago I’ve written about the ‘best’ time to submit a blogpost so you’ll receive worldwide exposure.

I came up with the term 4 o'clocky and I thought this might be a great idea to make a blogpost every day at 4 o'clock local time with this title. Every day I’ll submit a blogpost about something that keeps me busy and is important enough to share so Lets blog on, here we go!

 This My 4 o’clocky for today... Playdates,

Yesterday Duncan was pulling my coat in the schoolyard. I was talking to another mother
( actually a nice one ) , not one off the veganveggie jealous diet mums, but Duncan wanted attention to make his point. His question : Whether or not Vinny could come and play with us at Our house?!

Vinny is the boy in the type of: everything is fun.. That goes with everyone. Mine is already shouting loudly, even if I sit at the kitchen table and he in the living room, because that is too far away. So Vinny has to come with us to play with us. 'All right, dude,' I said, happy to see that he has a friend and therefore had not become the loner of the class. Vinny was the first who ever came to play, and after that alot more followed. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes I laugh my buttocks out of my pants, sometimes I get annoyed. But hey, it's part of it. I discovered ten things that work during every playdate. And I like to share them with you.
Ohh on forehand I am not a witch Kinda mom......

Give them candy just alot of candy....
The sugars often start to work only when they are home again. For you as a mother it is nice to score cheap. Your child will also find you super cool, that you just distribute sweets. And they keep their mouth closed for that.

If you have the space - create a playroom.
We have a spacious playroom in the attic with a few playtrain rugs on the floor. You will find crates full of toys , Lego and a tipi tent. You pull the door behind you closed and you dont See the meds and next day There maybe another playdate.

Let them fight it out.
That door to the attic helps with this. They resolve small quarrels among themselves with an incidental fist fight they come downstairs to tell me whos fault it is. Then I am offcourse willing to mediate.

I also correct boyfriends and girlfriends.
My house, my rules. BAM... That's how it is. So do not hit, do not kick, do not scold and do not make takke-noise. And tell your mum please! Maybe she will understand that her parenting is a bit off.
No is No !!

You can steer a bit in the choice for friends.
Of course it is not allowed, but hey, they'll come to your home, so it's okay, I think. So I say: 'Mathijs is a sweet boy, right? Or maybe we should ask if Jada wants to come and play. "Always better than getting the irritating kids from the classroom at home, like Nick😬

Meditation music helps.
IBIZA Lounge If they are really hyper the light sea sounds, it really helps!
Also meditation music or yoga music. You just find it on Youtube or on your Sonos. Test it its great.

Sent them outside,
Is it okay again? As in: no rain coming from the air like waterfalls? Throw a football into the garden and those kids behind it. Do it, it wears them out and they sleep extra nicely at night. His mother will thank you really she Will, or not because she doesnt like you and talks about you in the schoolyard. LEKKER BELANGRIJK 😂

Two afternoons a week is the max!
Otherwise my child is only crying and screaming on Friday. If you are smart, you choose Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, otherwise you have such a friend for 4 hours atleast.

No TV. You're not going to meet with each other to watch TV together, right? If you agree to play, you are going to play. Lego is soooo much fun!!
Always say that you eat grosse things that evening.
Spinach or a stew, or something. Just tell it casually. Then such a friend does not want to stay for dinner at least.

I know you ate thinking the Same, but Reading this is heavy isnt it! BUT .......
For all mothers who read this and never want their child to play out at Our place or with me anymore. I also do nice things, though. Fresh fruit smooties or peeled fruit When we come home, with them to the forest or the petting zoo. I go out skating or to the playground. I even play with the Lego so that this is clear to you My friends.

Now its time to go to school again and pick up My lovely boys.... and its thursday hopefully Duncan wants to play BUT with anybody but Nick😬PLEASE!
