4 o’clocky 5-MINUTE FREE WRITE

She was joung, about 25, he was 45. About 5 years older than me, and a co-worker for the last 8 years. They seemed to be in love. We were with twelve at our round table, in a room with 6 other tables. The trade firm Where i work does this every year for their employees and their significant other. I am the observing kind, not at ease in a big group. Always trying to tell what someone is Made of just looking at their body-language. This was such an evening. I Watched them during the 6 course meal. They were affectinate, yet a bit weird. Both drinking to much and somewhat loud. But i think that was not something they realized. Maybe they were brought up that way or maybe they thought that that was normal behaviour. I always try to look at thing as openminded as possible. He is My Co-worker and I spent at least 8 hours a day with him so I do not want to rub him the wrong way. But drinking and driving at Christmas is so bad, its always wrong for that matter. You are likely to hurt others to. I have to tell him My thoughts. In a kind manor and really calm. We are friends and I am responsible! I was gathering My Words and before the first word came out of My mouth, My female plain Jane collegue said her piece. She said her piece and you know what everybody agreed and Knodded their heads.
And My co-worker with his young girlfriend, were quiet and mumbled an appology. They ordered sparkling water and me?, i was glad it was said, and i Will talk to him later at the job without the young one at his arm, to let him know My view on things. Now i am going to enjoy the rest of the dinner, watching other people in the room you never know what Will happen😉
