Scenes From My Studio: Cuteness For Your Ears
These are a sweet eco way for me to use all the little snippets of reclaimed & vintage material that is in my off-cut basket. I love fabric. I make all sorts of creations using reclaimed textiles that I source from all over the place.
I can't walk past an op-shop without popping in to have a little sticky beak. Of course I usually come back out with a basket full of dreamy, beautiful, whimsical vintage prints. You can never have too much fabric!
Fabric Button Earrings
I love colour and pattern. I keep all of the off-cuts from my other projects. I have tubs full of little fabric scraps. This is what I use to make fabric button earrings. You only need a piece of fabric the size of a large coin to make a single earring. I love how a tiny circle cut out of a much larger piece can be transformed into something new and different to the whole fabric design. I pick out the little details.
Buttons for me, Buttons for you
I sell these adorable and cute fabric button earrings on their own. They make a lovely small gift and a great bread and butter product for my shop. I also pair earrings together with other products to make limited edition gift sets.
Every few months in my shop, I run "Buttons with Bunchy," This is an open studio event where customers are free to rummage through all my fabrics and make a few pairs of button earrings. I sit down and share the process and then let them go. It is addictive. No one goes home with just one pair of earrings.
I never get tired of making these little buttons.
Until next time

A totally unrelated topic. Voting for your post was the very first time I had the vote slider. Didn't seem right to do anything besides 100%... for you of course :)
