A Cheap Garden Bed Idea
Wandering through a public park in the Northern Rivers region of Australia, I came across a tiny community garden.
What really grabbed my attention was the woven raised garden beds that had been made.
A few had been completed with seedlings already planted and a couple more still a work in progress.
Having just spent quite a few dollars on buying brand new steel raised garden beds for my backyard, I wish I had seen this design earlier.
How awesome! It looks like it has been made using the vines, bamboo, leaves and sticks found in the park. The weave was tight and the dirt firmly held in place.
What a simple and cheap idea, I just had to share.
I am looking forward to checking it out again in a few months, to see how the beds age and if the plants are thriving.

Sweet!
Thank you for this post I'm going to have to try this one day! You should make a "sustainable" tag so that we can get that going as a topic. Sustainability should definitely be promoted on Steemit! I have an article that I'm writing I will add to this too. ~Wonderful post
Hi @allgoodthings - great idea. I like that as a tag. I will definitely have posts to contribute on that subject. I have been trying to get 'recycle' going as a tag too. I have started following you. I look forward to more posts from you.
Ohh that's a good tag too... Awesome thanks likewise!
