The Plastic Is Going Up On The Greenhouse
@steve-mcclair 's greenhouse is getting closer to completion. We were putting up plastic yesterday. We can work at night when it is cooler with the lighting. It is still very hot during the day this time of year in Arizona.

There is a lot of work to do. I wish you a lot of success, to finish as soon as possible. You're right, it's very hard to work during the day because of heat.
Yeah it is tough work and there is a ton more work to go before we get to the point where it is filled with plants.
If you are determined, you can do anything. All the best.
Thank you!
Hey just out of curiosity how much land does your buddy have? My gf's folks are looking to move out to Arizona to retire and they were trying to get an idea of what area is good, affordable and where they could get a bit of land.
Oddly enough he is renting that land for 2 years. I was surprised he was going to build the greenhouse on rented land but it is hard to find land with a well dug. Going off city water would have been too expensive.
It really depends if they want to be up at a higher elevation or close to a bigger city. There are really so many choices. People will live in the White Mountains or up by Flagstaff if they want the elevation and more seasons. But Tucson, Phoenix or Sierra Vista if they want to have the warm climate. There is more Rain in Sierra Vista and a better chance to grow things if they are looking to do some of that. There are a lot of choices.
Her dad is from Aguas Calientes in Mexico, he actually had bought a ranch down there and built a house on it and his sister was living there and kind of keeping an eye on the property and wound up selling it out from under him, he didn't find out til like a year or two later and nothing he could really do about it so now he's looking to move out west, nicer weather and escape the property taxes and some of the other nonsense out here in Illinois. I'll have to see what kind of climate he's looking for.
They look damn fresh... like they are not real
This is so cool! Well done.
And by the way, WHY did We not meet up when I was in AZ?
Ummmmm..... that is a VERY good question! I could have easily came up to Phoenix or you could have came to Tucson. LOL
Looking pretty darn good so far, Brian
Yeah it is pretty impressive. I'm only helping with but he just messaged me today and said he already sold all the tomatoes that will be grown in it!
Thats coming together really nice.
Yeah it is looking super legit. There are no blue prints for it and it isn't a pre fabricated greenhouse. He just came up with it. The big worry is if a Micro burst smashes into it. I feel like it will probably be ok but who knows.
That thing looks epic. Dang. What kind of plastic is it? Does it last multiple seasons or is it just for the year?
I'm not sure what brand it is. If I was out there right now I would tell you but it is pretty thick and we have been putting up two layers. It should last multiple years. But we will see if a vicious dust devil or a micro burst messes things up.
