Another Update On My Broken Nose (Crunch!)
Today was 10 days after I broke my nose playing basketball. A couple of days ago I realized that my nose wasn't really in the right spot and I could feel the break points on both sides of my nose. I knew I needed to get it back in place as best as possible before it healed too far.
I was just going to do it myself but my nose wasn't moving very easily and I was worried about brute forcing it and chipping the bone where the break points were. I set up an appointment at a general clinic to see what they would say. Ultimately I had to go to a Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist today and it was kind of funny what happened.
Basically the doctor said that the whole process isn't very scientific and wasn't even going to do X-rays which I was glad about. I was worried they would just do those for the fun of charging me.
He basically said that I could just drink some booze and take a butter knife and stick it in my nostril to try to get it back in place. Otherwise he could have me put under for 15 minutes and they could adjust it and try to get it back in place.
At that point I just asked him if he could just do it without me knocked out. He said he had done that before for an inmate who said he was tough.
I said, "Well, I'm a tough cheap skate! Let's just do it!"
He sprayed some stuff in my nose and then stuffed another thing up my nose to numb it. he stuck a flat tool up my nostril and then "Crunch!!!!" It seemed like there was an improvement but then we could still feel the break point on the left of my nose. He cranked on it again and it did a small pop.
It seemed like that was about the best we could do. The picture above is from right after those adjustments were made. Below is before the break. The middle is after my adjustments I did and after the swelling started going down and the far right picture is what it looks like in its current state. He had packed a bunch of stuff up in my left nostril to give it more support and my nose started swelling some as well.
He said that if I need to try to adjust it more in a few days that I can't really hurt anything doing it and if I felt like it wasn't shaping up right he could always put me under for 15 and crank on it harder.

Ouch! I've been there too lol... got punched in the nose in an acting class one time. You seem to be looking better now though... way to get the doc to just do it! That butter knife idea sounded pretty sketch.
It isn't fun, that is for sure!
I think it is moving in a positive direction. I have been worried about it healing wrong for the last couple of days. We will see how it is looking the next couple of days.

I have had a Coinbase account since 2013. I have have had mainly good experiences. Never really had a problem to be honest with you besides the fees being high previously on Instant buys.
I read about issues getting your ID recognized for verification, but if you've been using Coinbase since 2013, that speaks well of the service. I need to buy some Bitcoin to increase my SP, without going through too much hassle.
Yeah the system has probably changed a little bit but suddenly Bittrex made me verify stuff and it made me upload a selfie and I guess it compared that to my id picture. It was ridiculous but these exchanges are trying to cover their own asses

I tried and because I'm an American and they traced my internet to Germany they would not let me complete verification or change my country to the US.

I think it looks fine. Don't sweat it. And, whatever you do, don't write any more about 'adjustments.' As @meesterboom said, it made me clench. Or maybe a better word, cringe? Glad to see you're getting better

I think it looks fine man. The lighting is a little different and it looks a bit swollen but I think with the photos on the left and right it looks almost identical.
