Son Wants a Fish
Hi Friends,
My son recently was at a friend’s house and they had fish tank and fish. Jacob was fascinated by this, and proceeded to watch their fish for a long time.
Later that night, he started talking about getting his own fish.
We do not own any pets right now, and, honestly, I like it that way - no mess, no fuss and no extra expenses. But, I am a softy and had my own fish tanks growing up, so perhaps it is time.
We told him that we could make it a Christmas present to get a tank and fish this year, so he wanted to go look at some fish. We spent an hour and half going to two places this afternoon to look at their fish tanks and fish. The only problem is Jacob is already asking “how much longer until Christmas” now that he has something he really wants.
So, we will no longer be pet free!

Oh yes....pet-free is lovely to be sure. hehe
However, if you do decide to purchase a goldfish....there is a wonderful book named 'The Truth About Goldfish' .....it is sort of an extra large paperback with large print.......and the website puregoldfish.com is quite helpful.

Buy a little catfish they are awesome pets because it's fun watching them attack things.
