If you are anything like me, you love Chinese food. The fortune cookies are a bit silly, but then again, it is all part of the experience.
I enjoyed some Chinese food recently, and then opened the fortune cookie to find the following:
Well, I think that is fairly general, and doesn’t even say that I will necessarily make it to the “glory” part, but I do feel the concept is an important one in many aspects of life.
The things that are worth doing in life take time, energy and effort. While that is the starting point, perseverance is ultimately also needed to get something big accomplished in life. That perseverance is especially needed when the inevitable hills, valleys and rocks get in your way - you must press on to achieve the goals.
So, I am using this fortune from a Chinese fortune cookie as my reminder and motivation for today to keep at the hard things… it may lead to some amazing things happening!
