Weekend Recap

Hi Friends,

I had a nice weekend and hope did as well.

On Saturday, we celebrated my wife’s Mother’s Day and the kids and I treated mom to a special day. We made French toast with homemade strawberry topping for breakfast and the fun began. We then played with mom all day having an easy lunch after a big breakfast, and then we washed her car and played on a slip and slide while she did an at home painting class. We then had bratwursts for dinner, followed by cheesecake. We got her flowers, gifts and downtime - she had a good day.

On Sunday, we watched our church service online and then headed over to my mom’s house to celebrate her. We had steak and lots of sides for an extra large lunch, then hung around most of the day. We came home for dinner and took it easy in the evening. Overall, a great weekend!
