It is human to feel fear.

During difficult circumstances in which we feel vulnerable we can experience fear, that terrible sensation that takes over our body, the alarm mechanisms of the organism are activated, increase blood flow, sweating, adrenaline production and heart rate. Shaky, cold hands and warm cheeks are the symptoms that I have experienced in these unpleasant situations of anxiety that we have all gone through.

Fear is not bad, to feel it is a consequence of being alive and alert of external factors that we can not control, it is a defense system of our organism, if for some reason something generates fear, it means a risk to our safety. The impossibility of controlling all circumstances is frustrating, but in response to this we can try to master our reactions, under the premise: "the mind dominates the body", learning to control emotions will strengthen us internally to face any situation.

The power of the mind is incredible, it can take us to places where the body has never been and proof of them are the dreams, those fascinating episodes that in perception we would swear were real. We can not create emotions but we can create positive, nutritious thoughts for the mind with encouraging phrases.

Strengthen the mind is to create a protective wall so that emotional thieves can not affect us, fear is allowed as long as it does not control us. Breathing deep, attracting good thoughts, making positive affirmations or mantras, we can master those shaky legs and stand firm with good attitude.

Phobias and fears we all have, knowing ourselves will allow us to face them better, without showing our weaknesses to others, because they will want to hit you where it hurts the most. In military jargon, it is said that the parachutist who jumps without fear is killed, it is natural to feel fear before taking a big leap and it is the feeling that reminds us that we are alive.
