Ah, outdoor living at Skakuza camp in the Kruger National park, just us and nature, life couldn't get any better!

One morning after making and enjoying a nice bacon and egg breakfast we noticed a lovely bird of prey in a nearby tree. Oh, the magnificence of this skillful hunter I thought while dashing for the camera.

As I started taking pictures, he swooped down helping himself to a decent portion of cooked bacon, you see this bird had no intention of hunting his breakfast this morning when he had the option of smoked pork...

Then just as quickly as he descended; he made his way back into the tree where we first spotted him, looking at us while eating his breakfast.
