My Afternoon Video Blog/Vlog- "Are The Global Elite Massively Buying Up Ethereum In An Attempt To Centralize The Decentralized? A Harbinger Of Things To Come?"

Before recording this video blog, the city had just tested its severe weather alarms. I thought the test was over when strangely, the sirens started back up again and sounded off one more time. I continued to record because I figured it would reflect the urgency of my topic.

No matter how wonderful things may seem, we never want to be like the ostrich who sticks its head in the sand in order to ignore what's going on in our surroundings. In the same way, I don't want to ignore something that I see as potentially serous without even realizing it. Again, these are only my opinions and I am thankful to have a platform where I can freely express my ideas and concerns without fear of suppression as is the case on typical social media websites..

Having said all of that, I will continue to elaborate on this issue further....

Decentralization, in my opinion, is what makes blockchain based cryptocurrency and DApps so appealing to the freedom loving masses. Never before, however, have I been more hopeful and concerned all at the same time! Let me tell you why...

Up until now, cryptocurrencies have been held by countless users around the world and this has been a refreshing example of what the decentralized system was and is supposed to be about. Power back to the people! But so much of the time, when freedom and liberty minded individuals attempt to break out of the matrix of control, the powerful elite try to wiggle their way back in and sneak through the back-door. They have done this before and I would never put it passed them to do it again.

Ethereum's blockchain is an example of true brilliance and its technology will enable numerous tokens that are running off of it to operate in a very dynamic way. It's understandable to see how these growing start up technology companies would be attracted to this type of blockchain because it gives them the ability to run their decentralized applications and execute smart contracts that will offer the world tremendous access to services that they already use.

We've discussed this before, but decentralized supercomputers, cloud space and banking are just some of the applications that are and will be run off of the Ethereum blockchain. As a matter of fact, several of your top cryptocurrencies with high market caps are arleady using Ethereum as the foundation of its platforms.

Because Ethereum has emerged as cutting edge and as a foundational blockchain, the need for eth only grows each day. Therefore, it only makes sense that its market capitalization would show signs of significant increases. In recent weeks, we have seen a sharp upward trend in the Eth market cap and that is rather exciting because it shows us that interest has risen sharply!

But I am deeply concerned that the heavy weight companies like JP Morgan, Microsoft and others, who have expressed their interest in Ethereum, could gain control of its technology and grab a major stake in it. Even Russia's President Putin has shown interest in all of this. There's no question that this technology would appeal to them but for what reason? Do they want to gain control over it so they can take the power away from everyday individuals like you and me?

How could this even be achieved? My fear is that the recent upsurge in market cap might not all be resulting from everyday investors at a grassroots level. Billions of dollars are like peanuts to the global elite and these "Titans" would have no trouble buying in and positioning themselves in such a way that they could gain hold and have a major stake in Ethereum. This would be a disaster and would cause a stock market style system to develop and that is something that we truly do not want.

I'm not necessarily saying that this has happened or even will happen but I am thinking about this and I hope that my suspicions are wrong because it would only mean future problems for the Eth blockchain and all of the token based applications running off it too.

Here's my final point.... When it comes to the global elite and the powerful, never put anything passed them and always know that they love to get their foot in the door to mess up something that is noble, decent and revolutionary for the everyday citizen. There is much for that I could expound upon but I will leave the rest to my video for you to watch.
