FINAL PRODUCT

Sketch

The sketch was not so worked I forgot to keep it, so I leave the shadows I made in sketch mode. I had to do it twice the drawing the first time I did not like it looked like a deformed parrot, this is the second drawing.

Shading

Shadows here last a while trying brushes to give the effect of feathers that parrots have, it was quite difficult to have too many shadows inside the shadows and within those shadows more shadows ..

Colors and details

I look at the colors and all that came first (but since I didn't take them a photo since I had no plans to upload it explaining the process, that's why the changes between images are quite sharp.

Color plus background

In the color for the bird it was quite simple, I choose an intermediate color neither so light nor so dark + colors that are compatible with each other, I start in the green, I follow a blue sky and I go down until I finish the whole color palette, using The same hue, I also wanted to add a paint-type effect.

Background

I always make the background simple, colors + watercolor effect, re-take the colors and semi blur them with others, a little so that the effect does not go away.

Discarded

This was something I wanted to add but I was so tired that I decided to discard it, I wanted to make an edge full of jungle leaves and trees.

Time

Taking into account that I had to do it twice I calculate about 8 hours of painting.
