How I gained support on Steemit!

First of all a major accolade to @lukestokes who introduced @gomatthew who then introduced me @Brandyb

These guys are incredibly brilliant. I have truly learned everything I know about crypto because them. So if you don't already follow them --> do it!

I browsed things I was interested in, articles I found compelling or taught me something, I made sure to leave a comment along with my upvote.

After I learned how to upvote... for the longest time I upvoted everything I liked and didn't realize that my vote was pretty worthless since I wasn't giving it time to replenish to its full potential.

I went to say hello on steem chat for a little while and I liked it there, I met some great people who were interesting to follow!

When browsing recipes I found @progressivechef who has an amazing food blog and is a very active member of the community. He invited me to join a group of people supporting other people on the discord app #thealliance

I had never used discord prior & since then I have found many friends I am so grateful for their kinship. I would love for you to join us, all you have to do it believe in success and work towards it! Support the group that supports you & keep growing.

So the best browsing result has been random browsing and finding @whatsup who made a hilarious post about crypto kitties & minnow adoption. At first I wasn't sure that she was serious however I kept thinking about how wonderful it could be for so many people who would be adopted. I was selected out of a fierce competition of minnows. I really didn't think I had a chance because there were so many awesome contenders. @whatsup adopted me and now I am the coolest minnow on Steem it for 2 more weeks when she picks another one! I am now the first #adoptaminnow so there will never be one cooler than me. I have also discovered that there are a few others who are adopting and elevating the platform. Hopefully this will become a trend.

It took me a while to get the hang of steem it, to find my people & feel like I have a place here. Now I am happy to share these wonderful outlets and creative ways to success with others who are finding there way. I hope you will join me.

@whatsup was right I'm going to be yuuugggee! I hope the whales can keep up with a fish who flys high in the sky! Lol

I mean just a couple weeks ago... I was barely a fish out of water!

I still have so much to learn and really appreciate all the mentors I have in my steem life. I would be nothing without them!
