How to Explain Crypto to Parents [DTube Exclusive]
Explaining cryptocurrencies to parents can be tough, especially if your parents and family are like mine (older & not very tech savvy). My pops just learned how to use Youtube a couple months ago and my uncle, despite being a sharp business man for his generation, doesn't understand much about tech companies beyond the fact that they keep growing in value.
In this video, I lay out a few different ways you could go about explaining cryptocurrencies to your parents and extended family in simple terms and analogies they understand.
Remember this is an oversimplification of the industry and technology involved. The goal is not to teach the unique differences between digital assets and crypto or the role of P2P vs servers. Just simple language aimed and giving parents a general direction of what this whole "Bitcoin things" is all about.

hahaahah that is something difficult today i was trying to tell them what exactly crypto is then they ask me if you cant touch so what does it mean

Haha exactly! My family is also confused with the fact that you can't touch it. I try to explain that it is digital so it's not designed to be touched and the fact that it only exists online and across computers is why it's so powerful. It's like moving money from one person to another without a middleman like a bank holding the money for you.
