New Ledger Nano S Users Beware -- "High" Recommended Transaction Fees Might Not be Enough
New user of Nano S hard wallet here.
Tried to send some LTC from my Nano S using the recommended "high" transaction fee that turn out to be way too low--transaction has been stuck and unconfirmed for over 24 hours.
Be careful when sending from your Nano S to Bittrex and be sure to check the current transaction rates to make sure you're paying enough. Otherwise you risk unconfirmed like this:
For those who can help out this noob: Is my only option to wait it out until it gets through (or gets rejected?)? Thanks in advance for any insights that can help.
I was shocked, and actually happy since I figured maybe it bode well for bitcoin lol, a month ago when I had a $2 fee ledger transaction get through on a Sunday night..figured I was going to be in your position and stuck waiting helplessly!
IDK with confidence on what happens on a failed BTC transaction, so hope others comment
Unconfirmed transaction means that your transaction is being broadcast through the network until some miner write it down into a block. If the unconfirmed transaction is not confirmed into the blockchain after some days, it is deleted from the network.
