Steemit, DTube Referral Program

I have been apart of the Steemit community for the past month and I couldn't be more excited about the discovery of the decentralized social media. I have been and will continue to create content to share my pursuit into the crypto world.

I am not the best writer, so I was looking to get into creating videos as content but was hesitant about starting on a new platform, such as youtube. Fourtnuetly enough, I recently discovered that Steemit also allows video content when using @Dtube or @Dlive. This allowed for an easier switch into video content producing. They make it very easy to get started with signing in with your steemconnect account. Now, I need to work on making and editing videos to get posted!

From my knowledge, Steemit currently does not have a referral program. I believe that adding this could really help to expand the community and allow the Steemit community to really see growth. Not only will this have a positive effect on the Steemit community, we could see an increase in the cryptocurrency adoption, as multiple subject content creators start posting on Steemit. This site wasn't made for cryptocurrency news but is mainly the only thing that I see posted. Although this is not a problem with me, I feel that the platform could be used for a much larger viewer base. Giving an incentive for creators/viewers to join the Steemit movement can help the platform with expanding the content that is posted, the number of users, and the cryptocurrency community in general.
