Evolve The Conciousness

The argument for design is supposed to imply that with anything that has apparent purposeful element of design there must be the implication for a force who foresaw the creation.

This idea seems very plausible in certain circumstances, but when talking about life and consciousness we have observed that natural selection seems to curve the otherwise random spontaneous change and growth present on this planet in favour for a tougher and longer lasting offspring.

“Descent with modification” allows for every link along the chain to gain an advantage towards a better life then the last. This has been described as “a scheme for creating design out of chaos with out using the mind”.

I however do not personally believe consciousness evolved out of natural selection, to me it is a combination of a “higher self”, divinity or simply the subconscious mind and the conscious daily intuition and action. (sun+moon)

It is all of course under our control and input but it acts as the projection of our reality so if we are unaware of what is getting fed into it then we will end up in a very malevolent world and in turn react in action negatively to our exterior perpetuating the descent.

Use your conscious mind to fill the subconscious with your positive will.

I am familiar with 2 different consciousness directed evolution theories the first is one where consciousness directs evolution in such a way where the individual uses action to further their evolution. A prime example of this is people whose parents are musical have a much easier time learning and utilizing musical scales. (Little bit of a cloud consciousness theory in this one)

The other theory is when a “higher power” or spiritual aspect is helping the consciousness develop alongside evolution.

The functionalist view on the evolution of consciousness incorporates the necessity of a definitive function for our consciousness. Birds have wings to fly so we must have adapted and gained our consciousness for some purpose.

A selfish replicator is a gene that will get transferred to the descendants if it can they are not necessarily good, bad, beneficial or “selfish”. They are just a gene that will get copied regardless of the effects they will have on other genes, organisms or species as a whole.

A meme is an element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation.
