Steemit Rocks!!! ... When you've got good friends.
As with all things in life, Steemit becomes way easier when you've got the help and support of friends. When I first got here I didn't know anybody, and so my first port of call was my countrymen... To be honest it looked like a bit of a circle-jerk in the beginning with a few established guys interacting, upvoting and resteeming their other established friends. After a few hours, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this was definitely not the norm though, and the crowd in #TeamSouthAfrica have been WAY more supportive than I could have imagined. Random strangers WANTING to help me out for no reason or benefit to themselves... now THAT'S a community I can dig!
Anyway... I'll probably be writing a post about some of the cool people I've met, and some of the cool bots & discords that I believe are worth joining. Trying to do so after such a short time on Steemit, would probably mean missing too many. For now though, I would like to single out 1 person... and that is @bearone. Arly has offered to create a sexy footer (see below) for any #TeamSouthAfrica Steemian that wants one... HOW COOL IS THAT?
