Climbing up Brunelleschi's Dome !
Brunelleschi's Dome, also known as the Florence Cathedral and is one of the tallest points in Florence. This magnificent done is one of the architecture marvels of the Renaissance and moved Europe out of the dark ages. One lucky thing I managed to do was to book tickets for this dome and reserve a time (This is essential for anyone who wants to do the climb, else the line is SUPER long!).

When I was in Florence, the dome was closed. Happy for you, that you had that opportunity. In my opinion Florence is the most beautiful city in Italy and Santa Maria del Fiore is the most breathtaking church I have ever seen.
