I came across this while walking through the local station today. I don’t normally pass through the station, so it was the first time in a long, long time.
Question: Will this poster have Steem written on it within the next year?
It took several years for bitcoin to appear on such posters. If Steem will be able to make a quicker leap than bitcoin, then I'll be a standing ovation .
Actually, with the way things are going, I wouldn’t be surprised if something like a steem-backed SMT made it on this poster within a year. There are a few big stores and companies that are using coin-based point/reward programs and that are exploring Blockchain technologies.
That would be great! I bought a flag for 2 BTC way back when. I'd be afraid to fly it now with the price of BTC where it is. Here's my receipt from Oct 2014 for what today would be a $300 slice of pizza and a beer:
I’ve mentioned it in replies to other post, along with my Mt Gox bankruptcy story and how I sold 6 BTC at $800 each a year ago to pay my taxes. Whatever I do with BTC, others should do the opposite :-)
Yeah, those are some tough pills to swallow. There’s not a lot of comfort in the How could you know? line, but how could you have known?
I put close to 2,000 Steem into a startup when Steem was around $1.50 and that turned out to be a scam/went belly up. When Steem hit that $7.00 point, I was really kicking myself, but I guess it’s all part of the game. You can only hope for better timing in the future and try not to make the same mistakes.

そうですね。自分の考えしか見えてなかったと思います。SBDの価値はいつも1ドラの価値に近づいたら簡単に計算できるし、営業している方は安心すると思いました。SBDの価値が急に10ドラの近くに上がったとき、僕のイメージが崩れちゃいました。だから辞めたのです。
でも今から考えるとどんな価値があっても受けている営業している方は凄くいいかけるチャンスがあります。もし１日に25SBDを2ドラの価値でもらえてら次の日3,4ドラで売れるかもしれません。そのチャンスをやってみたい人もいると思いますけどね、少ないほうかなー。
そうですね。価格が上昇すると思える仮想通貨ならば、お店の人は安いときに受け取りたいかもしれません。逆に支払う人は、そのときに使いたくないかもしれません。
確かに、1ドルに固定されていた方が SBDは計算しやすく、使いやすいかもしれませんね。参考にさせていただきます。

社会実験的なところがあるので、色んな事例が出てくることにより、見えてくるものがあると思ってます。
仮想通貨に詳しい人ならそういう実験をやってみたいと思います。きっと勝ちになるだしょうね。
でも店を持っているは僕の知る限りでは少ないし、仮想通貨のことを全くしらないから上手に話してもその価格の歴史を見たら心配すると思って辞めました。
