Geuneugom, Aceh traditional fishing trap

Geuneugom '(trap). This tool is made of bamboo blades that have been on the face and in sharp, and then in the woven by using rattan rope, to unite in a series that is streaked and hollow like Bubu. The top of Geuneugom is left open for easy picking of trapped fish. But 'Geuneugom' is different from 'Bubee' (Bubu). Geuneugom does not have a small space in his mouth that serves as a trap like Bubee. And the way this tool works is different from Bubee. Bubee serves to catch fish by mining in the river or where I have the fish (except in the market) by soaking, and putting the bait in it to lure the fish in through Bubee's mouth and finally he is trapped.As for Geuneugom, it is used to catch fish by throwing Geuneugom from top to fish until he is trapped in geuneugom.It must be done in high speed, pitting chance with the fate of fish.Usually, hunting fish with Geuneugom is done at night and use a flashlight .Scenter functions to allow the fish to be visible in the dark, or maybe by directing the flashlight into the water, it can be a bait for fishing out of its nest and coming to light. the main needed in this work.Allahu A'lam
