The Diary Game || 31-01-24 || Far From Home Day 3 - A day without Examination

Dear Diary,

It was another day but this particular day was more like a free day to me but a lot of things transpired that brought about severe general body weakness. The post will give narratives on this. We utilized this day to it's fullest knowing that there are a lot to face the coming days. It all started when I returned from campus to my friend's place.

Morning Activities

The night following the morning of that day, I didn't sleep. I was reading for the next exams as we'll be having a free day from exams. I didn't forget to go online in creating at least one content on steemit. Exams can't be my barrier. Reading was successful that morning. When it was 6Am, I left with my coursemate so I'll go back to my friend's place. On our way home, I stumbled on a food vendor's place who came as early as possible to feed those who would be having exams by 8Am.

My coursemates was so hungry as she didn't eat the night before. She had to buy food for her sister, herself and me. She told me to take anything of which I choose fried rice and moi moi. This may be mind if weird for some people but the mixture was quite soothing. Her sister played character there. Her behaviour was just so comical. After eating and was asked to pay, she asked the woman a very funny question. This made us burst into Laughter.

We told her to keep on playing that she'll wash plates if she's not able to pay. We then left comically and headed back home. On my way back, I saw that the road leading to my friend's house was well polished compared to a year ago. On reaching my friend's place, I took to bed as I had weary eyes.

When the day was brighter, I woke and did some chores before heading to purchase things for food. I thought of preparing small egusi soup, so I had to enter the shops across where my friend lives and then bought;

Garri	300 naira	1 steem
Okra	200 naira	0.7 steem
Melon	200 naira	0.7 steem
Pepper and crayfish	300 naira	1 steem

Other ingredients were in the house of which I made good use of. My friend took to washing plates and pots that were dirty in the house and after doing so, we tried creating a content through pictures so we can post on steemit. The content was about my best book.

In no time, we took to reading our books and then prepare for school in the night. When evening came, we took to leaving the house for school to read for the exams we had the next day. This course seems quite difficult for me because I skipped some classes. I had to cover the part I skipped that night.

On reaching school, spaces were filled and I had to manage with one of my coursemates to pass the night. I took to reviewing posts that night before reading the course . That was how I navigated my night. My friend came with her sister, her troublesome sister who made my night with her comedy. She was just filling the atmosphere with laughter. She sponsored us with some snacks that night to remain fit.

After chatting for so long, I left them and then stumbled on a piece of paper of which writeups were on it. It was wrapped in a way that the copier can see when he takes it to an exams hall. This is a form of malpractice most students use I exams hall to support their brains.

Reading that night was a tug of war. I had to battle with a lot of things. These were;

• Cold: Despite the hoody I brought, the air was filled with thin air coupled with the fan that blew in my space.
• Mosquitoes: This was another factor that made me extremely unstable. Mosquitoes hovered around me as if it were roses of flowers. Even with all my coverage, it would look for a place in my body to bite. I've never experienced this before. Yesterday was actually the first time I experienced such influx of mosquitoes.
• Sleep: Nature and I fought so hard last night. Is either I murdered it or it murdered me. Finally, I succumbed to the pressure of having weak pupils. They were closing on it own. I slept till the next day without doing revision and covering the course. Guess what happened the next day.
