Steemit Mentorship: We don't Just Sign Up, We Mentor

This post would be written on a weekly basis to Mark what I'm doing to assist newcomers on this platform. It is one thing to bring people on this platform and it is another thing to train them. This is what a lot of people run away from because they don't have that time to dedicate for this training at the expense of their own writing on the platform.

When I signed up on the platform with the aid of a steemian, following up was a big problem not until another steemian decided to train me till I got to where I am today. It was then I saw the importance of mentorship after sign up. I still give accolades to the user who got me and mentored me to be where I am today. As a way of replicating the favor and undeserved kindness shown so to speak, I took to helping many see that there is a life changing platform with both academic and financial benefits.

Aside bringing these users in, I took to mentoring them and I started this project for a couple of years though. Promoting steemit on other social media platform was and is my major priority. I see no good in knowing of something beneficial to yourself and others and then keep it to just yourself. I had and have promotional materials that helped me do this work and it has really helped me to remain active because I can't give up when I'm bringing others in. These are the fliers I've created so far for steemit promotion and it has been working well for me. With this fliers, I've been able to sign up and train over 100 users on this platform. The least of them are just newbies. If you notice in screenshots or fliers, you'll see that I do come up with a class so I'll follow them up. If I just throw up the link to sign up, I may not be able to keep track of those I sign up and mentor them.

These were my promotional materials for the past years and I'm still on this. I'm looking for ways to bring back that promotional activities trending back then in 2021 in akwa ibom state into the spotlight and this won't be possible if I run it alone. I will form alliance with those who started it and together we can bring up a harmony of investors and writers.

I want to create an awareness to those who have been lost after signing up that they can still be found if only the follow the guides of those I want to bring into the spotlight as mentors. I have 10 mentorship groups and each of these groups have nothing less than 10 users. I'm not just running this on my own. I have some users who back me up with this mentorship and we do this as a selfless service. My promotional activities are majorly online compared to that of physical.

Mentorship 1-8 have graduated from being mentees.** These mentorship groups are and were created for the purpose of training newbies who have no mentorship on the platform and newbies are introduced who have interest in writing on the platform on other medias form from my promotional activities. I have communities created exclusively for these tutorials as a form of course so to speak arranged in an orderly manner from the least complex to the most complex

As of January 2024 commenting this year, I took on that promotional activities to another level and was able to train and sign up about 16 users which are contained in one mentorship group for organization. My current mentorship groups are Mentorship 9 and 10. In these groups has the following.....

As a newbie guide in this community, I try my best in looking out for those who are lost on this platform and results have shown that some of them are receptive to getting mentored while others who are zealous but have no mentors take it up seriously.

No knowledge is wasted and having the feeling you know it all without guides may be one of the reasons you're not doing well on the platform. Personally, I am in different tutorial groups where I teach others and learn from them as well. I've brought up my WhatsApp group invite link for those who'll be interested in joining this free mentorship. Timetable would be created to suit your activities.

I'm not paid for doing all these. The only joy I derive from doing this is seeing others grow the way I'm growing. We rise by lifting others up and that's the logic. For a start, the first 10 people would be admitted into the group so as to aid us mentor without lagging for the fact that it is an online training and it's not that easy as it would have been if it were physically.

Promoting steemit at your own pace and space can be very rewarding because you're not just helping people, you're helping yourself remain active on the platform and not give up easily. It's rare seeing a mentor give up in a work as he or she has apprentices to teach. So it's hasn't been easy but it's the reason why I'm active on steemit.
