Stage 3: The Theatre Week [ The Voice of Steemit 25 — Edition 1]

All contestants would receive initial training on song and voice selection. Selecting a song that matches your voice is very essential when singing in a competition as you may have a good voice but choice of song spoils it.

How contestants will pass this stage?

Fight for yourself

It's actually going to be a sad and happy moment when results are out. Contestants would have to fight so hard to be among the 1-13 as 3 contestants would be evicted from the show by the Judges. All judges would be given a poll to vote out the contestant they want to. The three contestants with higher votes would be evicted.

Contestants are to give in their best. Creativity in your singing will definitely keep you in the next stage. I want you guys to frustrate the judges so they would find it very difficult to eliminate a contestant. Your choice of song matters. This choice of song can either boost your voice or make it bad.

How to participate? Practical

After going through the tutorials I'll drop in the Steem Music and Voices Community in 2 hours time, you make this practical. For phone users;

• Play the song and pause it in your notification bar

• Go to your camera and start the video. Allow the video to run while you swipe down your notification bar. Reduce the volume of the audio to half or below half.

• Then play the audio and start singing for 30 seconds.

• Stop the video after singing and test run if there's a balance in the audio and your voice to know the setting of your volume if you increase or decrease.

• After getting your settings right, you start singing for submission. It's that easy.

Rules to Contestants

• Record yourself in a video and sing any song of your choice for 3 minutes. It can be less than but shouldn't exceed. The 3 minutes is maximum. You must not sing all the lyrics if the song is lengthy.

• Post your videos on YouTube before the deadline. Copy the link and make a post in Steem Music and Voices community with the guidelines I'll give you.

• Title for YouTube posting should be VOS-25 Theatre Week by @username.

• Deadline for posting your entry on steemit is 4th September. It has started today. You can post even tomorrow.

• After posting your videos on YouTube, copy the link and make a post in Steem Music and Voices with the following criterias;
