Promoting steemit social media || Day 06 || Signing up 5 users and mentoring them

Little wonder my friend said promoting or creating awareness office the platform is an integral was of contributing to the growth of this platform. By more people coming to know the platform, we can find investors or content creators whose content on the platform would be a change of general knowledge on the platform.

On the 11th of may, I was opportune to promote the platform as well as signing up others on it. Journey with me to see how I signed up newbies on this platform and train them in carrying out their long journey on steemit.

Below are the materials I used in carrying out this promotion on steemit.

This is how I carried out Promotion that day. I made a comment on someone's post on Facebook and under my comment, i added a picture that explained what I wrote. This is the Facebook link to my promotion on someone's post. The person's post was about the best paying site now. So I maximized the opportunity.

A lot of people messaged me saying they are interested in joining or knowing the business I introduced at the onset. Some messaged me based on the steemit meetup pictures I posted on my blog. I answered them abruptly. I created a group which would be beneficial for my training on the platform. After creating the group, I copied the group link and told them to join to learn how the platform works.

Most of those that messaged me joined the group and I addressed them properly, telling them to introduce themselves so that I'll save their contacts and reach out to them when necessary. After introducing themselves, I shared a flyer which has the time I'll commence my class.

9pm came in hours and I started by introducing myself as well as asking them If there's any online business they have made money from before. Most of them replied with a no while a few said yes. I then enlightened them on Steemit.

I overemphasized the fact that steemit is no Ponzi scheme where you'll register with a particular amount of money and then do certain tasks. After enlightening them on the platform, I shared the sign up link for them and about 5 people signed up. Some had issues signing up on the platform.

The 5 that signed up are @emmalex001, @mp2, @sunbae15, @godwinsampson and @glorie01. These are the people that signed up that night while some were not online due to certain challenges.

After signing up, I gave them a guide on how they'll login and set up their account. This guide was through voice notes which would be clear enough and understandable. The five of them set up their account that night and join communities. I then told them about their first achievement task which they must introduce themselves on the platform.

I gave them clues to how they'll carry it out as well as a post link of someone's Achievement 1. I told them to work on it the next day as it was already late and then submit it as text to me first by 6pm the next day.

@emmalex001, @mp2 and @sunbae15 had Challenges signing up successfully on the platform. So I took it upon myself to sign them up and then gave them their keys which they have to protect and save.

Asides these 5 users, a user that was already on this platform but left came back and started from where he stopped with my guide. Others I signed up are equally making rapid progress on the platform like @robenjo2001 and @ynglu22.

That's how my promotion ended. Now I'm into mentoring them which I'll be commenting on their progress and setbacks if any.
