Promoting Steemit On Social Media || Signing over 10 users on the platform

Bringing back my promotional activities to the fullest having dropped it for months, I decided to take a new turn last week till date. Promoting this platform has been an integral of my responsibility on this platform and to me, I consider it a selfless service. I'll be showing you guys how I carried out promotion on social media, the result of the promotion and ongoing training to make these newbies established.

Some months back, my promotional activities were reflected in these users which are doing well on the platform and I'm so much impressed by their growth. Asides promotional activities, I help newbies on this platform know the rules and etiquettes and guides to posting quality contents on the platform. Such newbies who needed help were the likes of the below. If you check their progress now, you'll be impressed. These are the people that were discouraged because they had no support on their posts. Having known how to create quality contents through my Mentorship, they are making waves.

As my role implies in steem4nigeria community, I took to checking Newcomers in the newcomers community and those struggling to understand the platform as they have no mentor. My exploration has been great although it has badly affected my time. But anyways, I still give it my all. I took to guiding @joshwolfman, @jayjay42and others as well as they are gradually learning and making progress.

The promotional materials I used were very much intriguing and these materials pulled a lot of traffic on my posts.

The promotional materials I used pulled a lot of traffic on my post making over 400 people want to know more about this platform that pays content creators. @emmy01 and I ensured this was carried out successfully. He was the host and I was the guest speaker. I did proper introduction of myself after about 400 plus people have joined the WhatsApp group. This is a pictorial representation showing the total number of people that wanted to know.

The class commenced in earnest and I promised to reward first 20 reactors and people who stays till the end of the class. Come and see follow up. The reaction was just too sufficient to make me continue. I wetted their hunger to know more by sharing a video that shows how steemit is much more advanced and paying that Facebook and other social medias before letting the cat out of the bag.

I started introducing the platform, how one can earn on it and why it should be considered a digital skill for one to take up. The follow up was just there. After sharing every information on how the platform works, I opened the group for questions which trooped in uncontrollably. I had to lock the group at some point to answer questions drop open it again after answering.

The mistake I made after answering those questions was dropping the sign up link on the group. For the first time I've experienced a glitch on steemit site. People were trying to sign up and request for codes at the same time, In seconds. The APK request was just too much as over 150 people were trying to sign up at the same time. They laid their complaints and I told them to do so tomorrow as there's a glitch.

The class ended successfully and those who were hyper interested messaged me. The messages were just to much that I had to go offline because of not being about to reply them. My host has issues with his phone and wasn't online. So I was now the possible target.

The next day, many were able to sign up. About 29 people signed up successfully the next day. I'll drop only a few of their usernames here

and lot more. I splitted these people in groups so I'll be able to mentor them with my colleagues. Most of them are verified on the platform while some are still awaiting verification. Kudos to them all.

Currently, they are undergoing mentorship by @emmy01 and I. Their willingness to learn and also apply Is just there and I follow them up to know those who are trying to apply and those who are yet to apply effective. My next post will show the progress of these users and what I do teach them on a daily basis in my Mentorship class.
