Application for Teaching Team- Shutter and Edit Team

Steemit introduced everyone here into photographing and the funny thing is that most of us were not photogenic or camera friendly. Because of steemit, we are able to explore the moments from our mobile camera. We take pictures of places, events, scenes, objects and the likes to create contents. In summary I will say that 50% of what is done on steemit is photographing/pictures

Diary games need pictures and not just normal pictures but high quality pictures. Most of us do capture these pictures casually without even looking into the detail, sharpness, clarity and positioning of their camera.

This teaching team known as Team Shutter and Edit will bring to the spotlight how to take high quality pictures for contents, some creativity in photographing, concepts and impacts. This is why we are applying as a team to teach and guide as many as on steemit on camera usage. Who makes up this team?

Details of the Professor and Teaching Team

It's quite obvious that I'm fondly called Bossj but I'm known by the name Jephthah Moses. I am a Nigerian and I joined this platform 2 years back. I've gotten lots of achievements as I'm currently on my Triple dolphin level. When I joined, I wasn't too intentional about this platform not until I compared the time content creators spend to create one quality content and I then took to giving my best in whatever contents I make.

My whole life revolves around taking pictures as if it's my job. How did this start? I was an introvert and wasn't photogenic. When I joined steemit, I started covering scenes like my life depends on it. I came to see that that there's a lot in photography other than mere captures. The emotions, vast creativity and moments created has shaped my life.

There's no doubt that most of my contents are filled with high quality original pictures that are captivating. Guess what, I'm no user of a camera. I got a phone that does the shooting and editing all together and this is a picture of the phone I use for all my pictures.

It has some specifications that are highly unique.

• Professional experience: As a professor, I started as a nobody until I learnt and mastered the ethics of lens and edits. As a professional mobile photographer, I've been given about 15 big contracts which includes birthday pictures, wedding, anniversary etc. I've also mastered the art of editing and giving light to lifeless pictures. I sell my new found skill which I learnt for 6 good months though I'm still trying to learn from the best of the best to be a pro pro. These are some of my works

• Professional Experience
  Many places are natural and present us with visions of nature. I took pictures of them so that I could save them as a memory. And I also love capturing historical things that happen. Because overall I have a lot of interest in photography and hope to give my 100 percent here. I take it as a hobby and I'm still a professional in it from my works..

I don't have a special camera to take pictures, I do photography with the help of my mobile. First I capture a simple photo with mobile and then I edit it a bit to make it look beautiful. Here are my handsome photographs.

This is Wisdom James from Nigeria and my user id is @whizzbro4eva. It’s my honor to apply for this reputable position. Since from childhood, I developed a phobia against pictures because of my supposed frightening shutter sound and light. As I advanced in age, I realized that it’s an efficient way of telling a story in an easy way.

• Professional Experience:
  Over the years, I became passionate about photography. Despite the fact that I used a phone with low camera quality, I tried to create memories. The fact was that I didn’t have the desired results. Switching to a phone i.e. I'm still learning from my Boss and he is still drilling me on how to use pictures to speak on steemit. I'm not a professional though I take it as a hobby because of steemit.

Redmi 13c has given me a higher advantage.

Nowadays, I deliver clean shots from my phone’s camera to my course mates and people around me. I wish to help enlighten people about photography and the basic tools to make a professional picture.

The subject area that would be covered

Teaching photography is not a one day task but with the given period of 6 weeks, we can learn the basics and move in the master level. My team and I will ensure the class would be more practical than theoretical though contents would be involved for assimilation.. As a broad skill, I'll concise the topics to be taught if selected. These subject areas include;

Fundamentals of photography and editing	Camera settings and techniques
Creative techniques and picture format	Tools for enhancing photos
Applications	Strategies in making the best of the most inferior phone camera.

These lessons would be covered so that we can all learn how to use high quality pictures to create meaning contents on this platform. Photography creates first impression. A person is always captured by the picture used in a content before reading the texts. So these are the topics that would be covered.

Three examples of the weekly lessons

If selected, these are the weekly lessons we'll be hosting with practical sessions and assignments.

Week 1	Photography Fundamentals: This covers what you need to know about photography other than just standing to take captures. You need to know why you're taking pictures, positioning and errors to avoid
Week 2	Camera settings and techniques: This covers rules of photography, how to set your mobile camera before capturing, how to hold and position your phone when taking pictures and some other hidden techniques
Week 3	Exploration and Application: This covers street photography, nature photography and introduction to light touches in editing.

These are the topics that would be covered in 3 weeks if we get selected. As an essential element on this platform, it must be taught so that majority will know how to be creative with pictures they capture and use for contents. Our application to take this up doesn't make us Boss over those learning under us.

In conclusion, this responsibility is a serious work we would shoulder, giving our best to issue out whatever knowledge we have on photography. We would be so much grateful if our application is considered.
