Photographers! | What Tripods Are You Using?

in GEMS6 years ago
I've been looking into tripods for a few weeks now.
What do you think about Joby's Gorillapods?
Worth buying?
I've been especially looking for a small tripod because I want it to be light and easy to carry around.

I already have a big tripod that is not so good because the camera movement is very limited.
So, now I want you to recommend both big and small tripods.
What tripods do you use?

I use a Rollei C6i Carbon and a small Manfrotto befree, but the Rollei is my main Tripod. because it is a bit stronger. The Gorillapods are good, a friend of mine uses them, especially if you don't want to carry a lot of weight. But they are not high so if there is grass on the floor or if you need to put it in Water it is a bit difficult. The advantage is that you can really get close to the floor.

The Rollei C6i Carbon seems like a solid tripod. The ball head is certainly good for wildlife photography.

Manfrotto befree looks very compact and nice. More expensive than a Gorillapod but surely way better.

Thanks for your tips! :)

very nice pics, thanks
