Each of us was born with about 70 new genetic errors, which our parents did not have. This is much more than that of mold, say, or bacteria.

Mutations probably reduce the body's physical performance, and an avalanche like this, with each generation, can be more and more lethal to our species.

The fact that we have not died out means that in the long run we have a way to get all our genetic garbage out.

And the results of a new study, recently published in the journal Science, show that the answer to this question can be associated with a very exciting procedure. You correctly guessed - it was with sex.
