From Your Guardian Angel

A Love Letter/
To you from your Guardian Angel

Greetings to you, my charge.

Shalom in the Name of the Lord our God Who lovingly assigned me charge over you. I’m sure it is fortuitous for you to be getting a letter from me, your guardian angel. I’ve waited a very long time to be allowed communication with you.

I bring good tidings of great joy, it’s in my job description. I know you can’t see me but you know when I am there. Remember last night when you felt comforted by my presence? Yes it was me, sent by God to comfort and protect you. I’ve always been with you and I always will be. You have been aware of my work in your life many times. You believe but so many others don’t. Don’t ever let anyone steal your vision or your heart. As your guardian angel, I will help to guard it.

There are so many misconceptions about angels. I would like to set those straight. You’ll need to allow this information to soak in.

I am not the little gold lapel pin. I am surely not a trumpet- toting porcelain figurine on a coffee table. I am a messenger and a protector for you. I am as real as you are. Everything I do is by command of God. I am very old, ancient according to your earthly standards. I’ve been with you through every trial and every joy. I was there to hear your borning cry and I will be there the day your life on earth ceases. Basically, I am fascinated by you.

My charge, always be confident of my daily care and protection of you. I was created for it. You are the reason God created me and you are the reason He sent me. But, make no mistake about it; God is the only one worthy of worship. We worship Him. It makes me very uncomfortable when humans set angels higher than we should be. Your worship and all your love must remain with God, lest you be deceived.

I’m writing so humans will be reminded of the truth about angels. I want you to know God’s truth. He is sovereign. He is allowing this communication for that purpose.

I wish for you to know me now because I am part of your eternal environment. Angels and their charges rarely if ever get this opportunity. I am eternal and always will point you in the right direction-toward God. Remember in the story of the Nativity how we sang when Jesus was born to earth? We were pointing to Him then and we point to Him now.

As an angel I already know the fullness of heaven. Someday, my beloved, you will experience it as well. Angels do God’s perfect will gladly without hesitation. Anyone can find everything they need to know about angels in God’s Word. The problem is in getting them to look.

Don’t ever pray to me, pray to Him. And for heaven’s sake do not set me up as an idol! Talk about uncomfortable, it really gets under my wings. I am a ministering spirit sent to serve the redeemed.

Humans do see us from time to time. Some go through their entire life never seeing us and never experiencing our presence, all because of unbelief, doubt, and fear and not asking the Lord for wisdom and guidance. Most humans, like you, have a very difficult time getting these negative thoughts out of their head. Seek and ye shall find.

As your guardian angel I am far more involved in your world than you realize. Because you see your world with spiritual eyes I am allowed to communicate with you. My desire is for you to know me and all the amazing things in God’s Word about me and my kind. There are over three hundred references to angels in His Word. Reading, meditating and studying it will bring you closer to Him. We know He loves you and created every individual angel for a very special purpose, just as humans are created for a purpose. At this time in your life your purpose is to receive and share.

When humans die they do not become angels. That is a common misconception. If you are redeemed on earth you will still be redeemed in heaven. You will have songs angels cannot sing.

There will be doubters and unbelievers who may criticize you, say you are crazy but do not let that affect you. You are in much better company than they are.

They are like the Sadducees, really, “sad you see”. We all know what happened to them and they didn’t believe in angels either. We watched as the apostles were brought before the ‘no-such-thing-as-angels’ crowd. The Sadducees spurned angels; they also dropped from history within a generation. The imprisoned apostles simply obeyed God’s message, delivered to them in jail by none other than yours truly. That changed history’s course forever.

I personally love Matthew 25:31, “when the Son of Man comes, in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of glory.” (NIV). Actually, I can’t wait for the day and we are in constant preparation. You should be, too.
In closing, Beloved, remember to worship and pray to God. Only the Creator is worthy of worship. Prepare for the coming of Jesus and listen to the Holy Spirit within you. I will be with you. I think you are wonderful.
